Done a new one. This one I made a board out of old chipwood stuff. Can you see what I tried to copy?

I like. What sort of paints do you use?
If I were you, I'd try to lose the sense of messiness and hone the swirliness -- in other words, perfect the lines your paintbrush makes, rather than making them all manic and disorganised. Take your avatar, for instance. Surrounding the explosion is a sort of cloud tornado that is much more controlled and neat to look at than you would expect. And when you think about it, everything you see in space seems slightly otherworldly -- although it's a messy situation, the way it's laid out is incredibly neat. Just a suggestion. Your paintings are lovely to look at but to provide that lasting sensation it would be nice to see your skills a little more honed.

I'm using acrylics. I'll buy some new brushes/play God with the old ones and see if I can take your advice on board.

As Arty, and many others, have said before me you need to have kind of neat disorder.
Instead of mixing everything together so much try making the overall picture much sharper. Love the pictures by the way but your camera lets you down, maybe buy a cheap scanner? If you lived closer to where I was I'd let you use my camera lol.

I love your paintings. I especially like the first and second one. They remind me that there's a whole universe out there and that our world is just a small part of it.

wow! That painting was simply marvellous. One question though, what did you use for this one? It didn't really look like water-colour.
