Ch. 2: A Meeting With A Mentor
Part 1

Sime and Corin weren't far behind us. As soon as we had entered the forest I stopped, frozen in my tracks. I knew something was near. I didn't know how I knew, it was just a feeling. I slowly looked around me very cautiously. The bush beside me started to rustle. I raised my eyebrow, I was prepared to battle anything that was going the jump out. I made a small ball of air that would get bigger if needed to in my hand.
"What's wrong?" Corin's voice was chopped up because of his fear.
"There's something in the forest. I can't tell if it's friend or foe." I answered him, rubbing my forehead trying to concentrate. Kar suddenly walked next to me.
"I'll help," Kar gently told me. "Nothing can defeat a true Air Goddess, but just so we're safe let's throw in a Fire God for the ride." He made a flaming ball of fire in his hand, that brightly glowed. Sime and Corin stepped back away from us, when we heard a growl behind them. Two piercing red eyes appeared in the bush behind them. These eyes shined so brightly that they were probably visible for miles away. Suddenly, the eyes disappeared.
"Uh oh" Sime and Corin said quietly to themselves. Kar and I both knew something was going to jump out and try to attack us. For what seemed like forever, we all looked mysteriously around us. Everywhere we looked, nothing. Nothing was there, the eyes were gone and that feeling I had sensed had vanished completely.
Suddenly, a blur appeared and jumped over us and landed with no sound on the soft leaves below it. This creature moved so fast that not even Kar or I could possibly stop it, no matter how fast and powerful our attacks were. The creature finally stopped moving, so now we were able to see what had landed here before us. The creature was a type of tiger.
This tiger seemed to be very different from other ones. He had peculiar black tatoos on his left front ankle and on this forehead. He had a mane that reached out all the way down to his tail. His head had glowing red eyes that had changed to a strange silver color. He now didn't look quite as frightening. This tiger had a crimson colored coat with a maroon mane and tail.
The creature started to growl at us but had soon stopped as he stared at me and Kar. His eyes strangely got wider and he sat down as though waiting for something.
"I think he means us no harm," I whispered to Kar slowly walking over to see if he was friendly. I started to slowly walk over to him holding my hand infront of me, hoping he wouldn't snap at me I lowered m y hand down toward his head slowly. He dodged my hand at first then he purked up his head and sniffed my hand. After he was done he didn't move and I gently placed my hand on his head stoking his soft maroon colored fur. His eyes were looking directly into mine, I saw images, like visions inside his mind.
These images were horrible. I saw other tigers, just like this one, they were probably his kin. They were all being chased by humans with spears and bows. Then, as the tigers were running, they suddenly stopped frozen in their tracks. The tigers vanished, as if into think air. Two people stood facing the mob, they made no sound and did not move an inch from their spots. It was a man and a woman, the man had brown hair with red streaks here and there in his hair, the streaks had faded and must have been put there when he was just a teen. The woman seemed very familiar, as though I've known he all my life, she had long that flowed in the wind and kept getting in her face. It was a black color with very, very light blue colored streaks in it, the streaks were so light they almost looked white. I continued to examine the two humans, something was shining from their fingers, wedding rings. The mob got closer and closer, the people held up their weapons preparing. The man weilded a gun while the woman weilded a sword. The strange vision ended just as the two were about to fight.
I looked over at the tiger, "What does it mean? Is there something we must do? Who were those people in hat vision? What is your name?" I began to fully examine the situation. Two people in a strange tiger's vision, Skira's trying to take over the world. Kar thinks I'm a complete lunatic, and I still need to avenge my father's death.
The tiger let out a sorta grunt noise then he walked over to a small patch of short-cutted grass. There was a pawprint engraved in the patch. He slowly walked over and gently placed his paw into the engraved pawprint. Some weird symbols appeared, they looked like this:

Lome- One that sees into your future and your past

Note: In the actual story the text above is in symbol. It's supposed to represent a different language.

These symbols were a type of different launguage, although I had never seen these symbols before I actually could understand them and I could read, and I could probably write that language too.
"What does that say? I don't understand that dialect of this particuar language." Kar walked over to the patch, he was interested in the language. "We need to find someone who can decifer this and tell us what it says." He still stood and blankly stood over the grass.
I gently pushed Kar out of the way and began to translate the written language for them. "It says Lome- One that sees into your future and your past." I looked back at Kar. He gave me that 'you're a lunatic' look again. I always hated that look.
"How did you know that? How did you decifer that language?" He walked closer to me and grabbed my arm. "What are you not telling us?"
I backed away from Kar, releasing my arm from his grasp."I don't know, Kar. I guess I can read this language. I've never tried... but maybe I can even speak it. You should be happy, this could come in handy when talking to Lome.
"He's not coming with us.." Kar turned away and began to walk into the thicker parts of the woods.
Sime suddenly screamed, we turned around to where he was standing and there was a group of 5 men around him and Corin all pointing their guns at him. Dozens more men suddenly came out of the forest, they surrounded us. Sime and Corin in one group, Kar and I in another, while Lome had 2 men around him.
Sime and Corin looked scared and horrified, but Kar and I stood there, are hands infront of us, Kar had his hand on his gun while I placed mine on my sword, ready to draw it at any minute. Right when we were about to draw our weapons the man standing behind me hit the back of my head with his gun, knocking me unconsious.
"Izka!" Kar's voice faded away as everything and everyone fell into blackness around me.

A cold breeze woke me up. I opened my eyes slowly to see that I was in a jail cell. Everyone was lying beside me, knocked out. Lome was seperate cage, he was waking up very slowly.
"Lome! Where are we? Can you hear mw?" Lome slowly turned his head toward me. I looked straight into his eyes, I saw something that made me start to cry.

My father, the king Air God was chained to a pillar. A man hooded in black walked over to him and mumbled something in a different language. He was standing directly infront of my father when he yelled to a man. A big man weilding a large spear-like weapon slowly walked over to my father. He was now speaking in english so I could understand him.
"Soon you shall see your daughter... She shall join you in the place beyond." The man showed an evil grin then he thrust the spear directly through my father's chest and through his heart.
I could tell where this was... It was happened in the dungeon place in which I had found myself in now. Was that my fate? Was the man telling my father that he was going to kill me too? The vision ended.
