This tale of mystery drama and heart.

Within a riddled and ancient fight.

Looking for her path and way to go.
Desperately searching,
To find out what’s truth, and what’s right,
In Moonlight Daybreak and Midnight.
And in this story, as she will find,
You have to search you mind,
Yourself is the one to ask,
To find your guide,
And confide…

It was a dark night, in a cold and dank back ally, and the base of music was filtering out of a secluded club into the surrounding area. Two girls approached the building linking arms and laughing out loud. One of the girls was small and pretty, with a blond and petite complexion, she was wearing a bright pink tutu and pink and black striped tights. The other girl was tall and dark, with a slightly mysterious look, she was wearing a pair of tight fit leather trousers, leather jacket, and a black top with a silver C on the front, like the crescent moon that was watching over them and showing them their way in the dark. Their shoes splashed on the wet cobbles as they walked towards a door overshadowed from the moon by the run down apartments above.
“… some things just happen!” giggled the girl how was wearing the leather jacket.
“Don’t they just Carman,” the girl motioned towards the girl how was in the leather and then to the door, that was know upon them “here comes your lover boy now.”
“Oh shut up Lisa.” She joked. The hefty bolt on the door slide open with ease and a certain grace, then the bulky door slide open to revel a slender yet muscular boy, with prominent cheekbones and a mischievous grin. He was wearing a black and white striped suit, black trousers and shirt, with a silver tie.
“Come in ladies” spoke the boy, with a voice as smooth as buttered on silk.
“Ohh la la.” Whispered Lisa.
The two girls were lead into the club by the boy. The walls shimmered as if there were moving shapes that were appearing and disappearing in the darkness. The silver floor was like one giant mirror reflecting the people with a type of ghostly warmth, which seamed to be feeding there every move. Beams of crystal light illuminated the club with such clarity it was as if you could see into the deepest part of someone’s soul, showing you their furthest flung secret. The pulsing clarity of the music creating such hypnotic addiction. The club seemed to be a place of sacred power as every one was open and true. The door opened on to a small yet infinite looking room, as the room was being reflected into the mirrors by itself again and again. Lisa the boy and Carman all sat down on a sofa, Lisa at the far end and Carman and her boyfriend at the other.
“Great party Carman.” Lisa announced casually.
“As ever” Carman answered, she turned her attention to the boy seemingly ignoring her friend to talk to him. “So… how are you doing?” she asked slightly awkwardly and hesitant almost, questioning the boys feelings for her. The boy looked up and stared into Carman’s eyes, as if everything that was ever going to go wrong would be solved be doing so.
“Together forever.” Said the boy, ending the uncomfortable silence.
“Always” replied Carman with a sigh of relief. He held her in his arms as they gazed into each other’s eyes.
“Oh brother.” Sighed Lisa, cringing from their besotted nature. Their embrace seemed to last for what seems like an eternity, as the two lovesick birds stared into each other, as if reading their very souls.
Suddenly the lights flicked off, Carman, Lisa, the boy, and the club were thrown into darkness. Scream after Scream were thrown into what seemed like the black night of the club. Getting closer, and closer. Terrifying cry, coming, coming. Then shrieking, and gargling. A hollow and empty laugh filling the room.
“Having fun?” called the deep and vacant voice coming out of the void that was now the club.
“Please no, no” yelled a voice coming out of the darkness.
The snap of a neck echoed through into their souls. A deep silence followed, which although soundless, described the harsh and uncertain atmosphere.
“W…what are you?” Carmen asked in disgust, with slight hesitation.
“Ahh Carman, how nice to finally speak to you. The legend, the balance.” said the voice with satisfaction.
“How do you know who I am? What are you? What are you doing here?” Carman asked with frustration.
“Hah Ha, Oh Carman, you don’t half crack me up sometimes. What are you, what are you doing here. And they say your going to win us the war. I’ll have to toughen you up a little bit luv.”
“Get out of here!” shouted the boy.
“Yeah, what the hell do you think your doing here?” called Lisa.
“Oh yes, the pathetic, do you think either of you could actually hurt me!
“If I have to.” The boy got up called into the darkness, standing in font of the two girls.
“Ok then,” he said with eerie confidence “I’ll give you the advantage…lights”
All of a sudden the dark club was light up with dim flickering red lights, giving the club an unnatural glow. The floor was littered with dead bodies that had been dancing and enjoying themselves just minutes before. They were blackened, with blood running from their necks, mutilated. There stood in the middle of the room a tall and rugged man, that was impressively handsome (in a creepy way). His whole aura was black and unwelcoming, but yet he drew you in. It made a shudder go down your spine.
“No!” Carman called to her boyfriend.
“Its ok.” The boy looked round.
Seeing an advantage, the man swung with ease and hit the boy with unbelievable force right in the face. Blood spattered from his head. His expression turned from comforting to abnormal blankness. His fist had punched a crater into the boy’s skull. A ripple of shock struck Carman like a hare on a highway. You could tell instantly that he was dead.
“No!”
He fell and hit the ground. Carman dropped at her knees.
“He should have listened to you.” said the man shrugging his shoulders.
The boy’s hand slipped from Carman’s.
“Ahh what have you done!” She collapsed to her knees, staring at the his mangled face.
“The names Saruk.” He bent down and flashed his long sharp canine teeth hissing at Carman.
“Ahh…”yelled Carman in fright, she startled back in pure shock.
“Welcome to the real world” announced Saruk bitterly. He inspected his fist that looked remarkably untouched, and smiled his disturbing smile. “Get used to it”
