TW/ YWO Summer Collab

What is this? Tsuki and I had the idea of more collaboration between the two sites. One of our ideas was this. What will happen is that we'll pair you with one (possibly two, depending on what you're doing) member from YWO and you collaborate to create something. This isn't a contest unless people want to make it into one. This is just to get people writing and experimenting.

You can do whatever you want: poetry, novellas, music. Anything. I'll post the list of ideas (though you're free to suggest more) and when you sign up, just let me know which you'd be interested in. We'll pair you based on that, skill level, location and personality. I think I know most of you well enough by now not to screw it up too badly.

So, what could happen? We could get a lyricist, a vocalist and an musician together and they could make a song. We could get a graphic artist and a script writer together and end up with a short graphic novel. As long as it has to do with writing or storytelling, feel free.

It's going to be run by Tsuki and I and we're both extremely flexible and, methinks, easy to work with. If you have any suggestions, questions, feel free but if people really apply themselves, this could be epic.

Also, make sure you have a messenger so that you can talk to your partner. To make things easier, you should get digsby, (http://www.digsby.com) which combines all messengers together so that you only have one. This is what I use so that I can talk to people without having three messengers open.

If there's a problem with these groups, let me know ASAP. Some of you were paired with other TWers just because there weren't enough YWO members but that's alright. They might change and be tweaked over the next little while, just until everything's settled.

Art/Drawing and Photography should be mixed. So like, the photographer goes out and takes the picture and then his partner, the artist can render it in another medium...

Obviously that's my choice but if it doesn't work out then I'll do Novellas.

Why not a TW/TW Summer Collab? The last one of those we had that I can remember was in January of last year -- the poetry duos. It had a good turnout, as far as I can recall. We could try that again with prose.

Tsuki and Tegzz could still run the thing, if they wanted, but it would stay local.

Actually, we might as well go for it. There's bound to be some gems in YWO -- they have a large enough member base, don't they? So why the hell not. Normally I'd disagree, but I'm bored as hell.

And the plus side is that if you're paired with an absolute moron, your work will look much better in comparison.
