Craving

David Hontiveros

Lester and Anne thought that a vacation in a small and secluded town could ease the tension of the pregnancy, but they got more what they bargained for. The horror begins with a sinister-looking peck of owls and the strange, disturbing dreams at night. And it all unravels into a nightmarish end no one could ever escape.

The minor problem with Craving was that it had been too short. Yes, it was clearly a novella, but it would've been more satisfying if it the story had gone on longer. The plot itself could carry out more than a hundred pages.

Nevertheless, it was a fast paced, chilling tale that you won't be able to put down until you got to the end.

So next time you see an owl by your house, make sure you have holy water ready in hand. Peace.

Ummmm, A.J? Could you give a little bit more detail in your review? Like, how the writing was, why we should read it, and why the plot could carry out some more?

It sounds like a really interesting book (demon owls are always good), but I just know what the jist of it is and nothing else.

It gave me chills but it sounds like something I would stay up all night just reading but I'm kind of at a lost of what it actually is about. Is it suppose to be like a horror story?

I apologize. I had I hard time writing the review without revealing the whole plot. Yes anbnicole, it is a horror story. And Akuchi, thanks for the input. I will defintely work on this.
