In need of an illness

I'm trying to figure out how my character, Nola, in A Vicarious Life died. Sounds horrible, I know. She was thirty-seven when she died, and she was a very thin, delicate woman. I might use breast cancer, but I honestly would rather not X_X

Any ideas? If you feel like you need some background, the story is on the "larger stories," board, and some letters between Nola and Jonathan Kefit (Empress Artisan's character) are on the "Challenges, Exercises, and Contests," board in a thread called "Pen Pals." Any sort of terminal illness will do. Accidents are okay, but nothing that kills immediately. I want there to have been at least a week's anticipation.

Heh. I just wanted a second (third, fourth, fifth, etc.) opinion on this. I may end up just using my own o__o'' lol.

You could use Leukemia, or Lymphoma or something.. Or... she could get in some kind of car crash and have internal bleeding or something fatal like that.

What about a blood clot that forms and could lodge somewhere and kill her at any time?

You could try a tapeworm infestation? I mean - you did say she was thin, etc. Those could be the symptoms...maybe...

Ahh, it would be very interesting, but I was hoping for something that everyone was expecting.

Btw, I've written her obituary in the 2nd chapter now on my thread...but I may change it at any time xD I'm using lymphoma...at least for now.
